Suggested Itinerary (Detailed Daily Schedule)
Day 1 – Beijing Arrival
Arrive in Beijing, China’s capital. Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. Free time to rest or explore the neighborhood.
Day 2 – Beijing City Highlights
Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City (closed on Mondays), then stroll along Wangfujing Street, Beijing’s famous shopping and food street. Enjoy authentic Old Beijing cuisine.
Day 3 – The Great Wall & Olympic Park
Morning excursion to the Great Wall at Juyong Pass, one of the most accessible and scenic sections. In the afternoon, stop at the Olympic Park for exterior views of the iconic Bird’s Nest Stadium and Water Cube. Dinner with Beijing Roast Duck.
Day 4 – Beijing to Datong (Shanxi)
Take a high-speed train to Datong. Visit the magnificent Yungang Grottoes (UNESCO), home to thousands of Buddhist statues carved into cliffs. Explore Datong Ancient City at leisure.
Day 5 – Datong to Mount Wutai
Visit the towering wooden Yingxian Pagoda (Liao dynasty), then continue to the breathtaking Hanging Temple, built into sheer cliffs. Arrive at Mount Wutai, one of China’s Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains.
Day 6 – Mount Wutai to Taiyuan

Day 7 – Taiyuan to Xi’an

Day 8 – Terracotta Warriors & Tang Attractions
Discover the world-famous Terracotta Warriors Museum (with audio guide), see the Bronze Chariot Exhibition, and visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Evening walk in the neon-lit Tang Paradise / Great Tang Ever Bright City.
Day 9 – Xi’an Culture & Show
Visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi’an Museum, then stroll through Yongxingfang Street for local snacks. Enjoy a hands-on shadow puppet painting or shadow play performance, followed by a dumpling banquet with Tang-style show at Tang Paradise Theater.
Day 10 – Xi’an to Chengdu
High-speed train to Chengdu. Visit Eastern Suburb Memory (Creative Park) and stroll Wangping Street for a mix of modern culture and local vibes.
Day 11 – Chengdu Pandas & History
Morning visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Continue to Wuhou Shrine and the lively Jinli Old Street. In the evening, enjoy a Sichuan Opera face-changing show.
Day 12 – Chengdu Leisure & Lifestyle
